Michelle Bhoorasingh is a Chartered Accountant with a wide range of experience in auditing, financial management, financial reporting, investing, and financial restructuring. She has held leadership positions in the public and private sector in Jamaica, in organizations such as Peat Marwick, Mead Johnson Jamaica Limited, and PriceWaterHouseCoopers and the NCB Group. Michelle Bhoorasingh also worked with the Ministry of Finance and Planning as Director of Treasury, where she was involved with the design and implementation of treasury management systems to more effectively utilize public funds.
As Vice President Finance & Operations, she is responsible for the operations, financial management and the financial reporting of the company.
Michelle is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica, and holds a MSc degree in Accounting and a BSc (First Class Honours) in Computer Science and Accounts from the University of the West Indies (U.W.I.) Mona. She has also successfully completed Level One in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme.
